My eyes swivel to the side of the room as I slowly eat a cottage pie. Harry and Sirius are sitting in the sofas by the fire, talking in low comforting murmuring voices. Sirius wasn't what I expected, yes I excepted someone that had seen to much, that was still looking for his best friend, someone who was still suffering from the pain and grief. But I wasn't expecting him, his attitude to life, everything about him. The vision I had last night contradicts everything that Sirius had done, he says to Harry that you should look at people on how they treat their inferiors, yet look how he treats kreacher. I shake my head, based on Sirius words his actions make him a lesser man already. The vision showed me him talking to Harry then him falling through this archway that had a thin black veil with terror on his face. I had so many questions that need to be answered.

I frown and take a drink from my glass of water. The cool liquid slides down my throat and I'm suddenly aware how thirsty I am, quickly I gulp down the water. Everyone's at the table except from Harry and Sirius, eating and talking, Fred and George next to me are chatting with mundungus in secretive voices. Fred gives me a wink before taking a quick glance to see if Molly is looking their way. But she isn't, she's talking to Tonks about Ministry affairs. Ron and Hermoine are chatting with Remus and Arthur about school with Ron rolling his eyes and Hermoine enthusiastically chatting their ears off. Mad-eye moody is looking at me suspiciously from the opposite side of the table. Next to me Ginny looks at me, before raising her eyebrows and downing her meal with a sneaky look at Harry. I can't believe he doesn't notice.

I rise from the table holding my glass of water, ignoring Molly asking why I'm standing up. Through the air in the kitchen door I can see Dumbledore writing at a desk. George gives me a raised eyebrow before turning to Fred. I head towards Sirius and Harry, it's Harry who sees me first, I think he knows I'm going to take Sirius away since he glares before pointing me out to Sirius. Sirius turns towards me with an annoyed expression, he wants to have some alone time with Harry.

'I need to talk to you.' My voice is low and quiet yet I can tell that everyone at the table heard me. Harry stands up and moves away, but not out of earshot. I give him a condensending look as I drag Sirius away outside the kitchen and into the garden. As if I'd want him to hear, then he would investigate very last detail. The door slams behind us, it's windy outside, the trees and grass rustle with sound as my hair blows around in the wind

'Look, I don't see Harry much so I expect this can wait.' Sirius growls before pushing me away and moving towards the door.

'I had a vision.' I blurt out as I grab his arm. Sirius stops and looks at me, his eyes expecting something. My throat is dry, I just drank loads of water. 'You're talking to Harry and then you're falling through something.' Sirius raises his eyebrows.

'That's it.' I hesitently nod. 'You dragged me out to tell me that I fell over?' He moves to leave.

'No! It's not just that. It's serious. Somethings going on.' I say urgently. He rolls his eyes. A leaf gets stuck in his hair. I shiver, it's cold out here.

'Ok, if this is so urgent then what do I trip over.' He looks at me, pulling the leaf out his hair. Suddenly I have a feeling of unease. Should I really tell him? I pull some hair out of my mouth. The wind just flaps some more in.

'Actually it's nothing.' I bite my lip. 'Just, be careful. And you didn't trip, you fell.' Sirius looks annoyed and doesn't answer, just pushes past me inside. I take a sip out of my glass and stay there for a bit. I was right in not telling him, I should investigate more then tell him my findings. The thought brings a smile to my face and I walk back into the room. Harry and Sirius are back to talking next to the fireplace, Moody's still looking suspiciously at me, everything's back in order. I rejoin my place at the table, Remus was in the middle of telling a particularly funny anecdote, my plate was still warm. My best guess to find information about this was Tonks, she won't be suspicious and she would know all the ministry information and could find out if she doesn't. I turn to Tonks who was still talking about ministry problems with Molly, she sighs and twirls her fork around when Molly goes on a rant about the Ministrys incompetence.

'Tonks.' I say. She turns to me with a hopeful reproaching look that screamed to be let out of the conversation. 'Have you ever heard of a black veil.' At her confused look I elaborated. 'It has a archway around it with strange runes on it. The veil whispers a bit.' She raises her eyebrows.

'You mean the veil of death?' Asks Remus, he's stopped his conversation with Hermoine and is now leaning over the table towards me helping himself to some gravy. My heart speed up but I shrug and hold in my panic.

'Yeah I think so. What is it?' I careful pour myself another glass of water trying to hide my shaking hands.

'No one really knows. It's quite well hidden, I didn't even know about it until I read this really obscure book. Everyone that has gone through it has disappeared, presumably dead.' My heart stops as I lift the cool glass of water to my lips. 'Why do you want to know?' He looks at me searchingly. 'How did you find out about it?'

I'm in shock, my glass is clutched tightly in my hand, does that mean Sirius is going to die in less than 6 months? Does it mean that Harry is going to lose the father figure he has? Harry's already so close to him it'll kill him. It'll kill all of us if he dies. I drop my glass unintentionally, the loud shatter makes everyone look.

'Sorry.' I mutter as I pick up the glass shards. My face burns as I feel silent eyes on me.

'It's quite all right dear.' Says Molly. 'Repario' she swishes her wand and the glass fits together again. Suddenly I just want to lye down and cry, I'm just so exhausted. Visions haunt my nights and I don't know what they mean, they have an aura of death and sadness. I bury my hands into my hair. Why couldn't I just figure the visions out? I can save so many people then, but I can't. Frustrated tears burn in my eyes as I ask to be excused to the bathroom. My burning eyes look at me feet as I hurry away. A gentle hand touches my shoulder, suddenly Dumbledore is next to me with blue twinkling eyes.

'Please excuse me while I talk to miss Sophie.' He leads me outside not waiting for an answer. Loud footsteps sound behind me and just as the front door closes Sirius appears. Is face is haggard and worried. He's probably realised there was something more to my vision. 'Yes Mr Black. Is there anything you need?' Dumbledore patiently waits. His silvery-white beard blows in the harsh cold wind.

'Is this about Sophie's vision? Or what happened in there' He asks. Sirius eyes bore holes into mine. 'Cause I need to hear it then.' Dumbledore shakes his head but Sirius carrys on in a forceful voice. 'It's about me, the vision.'

Dumbledore turns to me. 'Why don't you explain.' He says kindly. He muttered a spell on the door. Suddenly I could hear the twins muted groan.

My knees shake. Outside the wind is still blowing strong, leaves rustle and I can hear a stream in the distance. I explain as best as I could. The conversation Sirius and Harry has, then what happens in the ministry with the Veil of death. In the end Sirius is in shock, Dumbledores expression is unreadable.

'You could have told me I fell through the veil of death!' Sirius voice ends with a roar harsher than the wind. 'I thought you ment I fell down a hole. So I'm going to do. Great. That's bloody fantastic.' He turns away and heads back inside but not before Dumbledore calls him.

'Sirius.' Sirius turns around. 'Do not tell anyone what you've heard.' Sirius glowers at me but nods.

He slams the door behind him.

'I didn't know what it was.' I say, my head hangs low. Dumbledore sighs.

'Do not worry.' His calm blue eyes meet mine. 'You have saved more than one life today by telling me this.'
