Esbern heard the clanking of Delphine's armour his fellow Blade came near. Just as he looked up from his book – Annals of the Dragonguard – she threw a page of parchment on his desk. The old Breton picked it up, squinting with near-sighted eyes at the almost intelligible handwriting. "What's that?"
Delphine sounded bitter as she said: "The truth about your friend."
