Yay! Another poem! I really like writing these and my friends at school say I'm really good at them. This one is told from Rouge's POV about Knuckles. :)
Jewel of my Eye
Whenever I'm down
You'll make me feel well.
Whenever we're apart
My world turns into hell.
This pain in my heart
Will not go away.
I want you
I need you
Please don't runaway.
I know I'm a thief
Always after your jewel,
But now I'm begging for your trust,
I'm begging for you.
Even after all the hints I drop
You still can't catch a clue.
But I'll be patient and wait
Because for you this feeling is new.
I know we're different
In many, many ways,
But that won't change the fact
That I'll wait here for days.
I'll wait for the days
To slowly pass us by
Until you finally realize,
You're the jewel of my eye.
