Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki crashed through a window that felt painfully like glass and fell more than the expected two feet onto hard ground instead of a soft mat. Dazed and winded, they got up only to realize that there weren't any cameras anywhere, and instead of being on a set, they were in the middle of a junkyard.

"Where are we?" Jensen groaned.

"I don't know." Jared replied.

It was at that point that a slightly battered looking Misha Collins appeared out of nowhere, giving them one of Castiel's odd birdlike looks.

"Hi Misha." Jared said, having not quite processed what had just happened. "Weren't we supposed to be doing that exposition scene inside Bobby Singer's house?"

"Who is Misha?" Misha said in his Castiel voice as he moved towards them, touching them on their foreheads. Both men found - much to their amazement - that they no longer hurt.

Misha gave the men another one of Castiel's looks.

"You are not Sam and Dean." he said.

Less than ten seconds and a brief struggle later, Jensen and Jared found themselves inside a very real panic room. Both men found spots on opposite ends of the room and sat down, trying to process what happened. The answer was almost too fantastic to be believed, and if Mis- Castiel hadn't healed them and transported them down here, they would not have believed it.

"I just remembered something." Jared said, breaking the silence a while later. He didn't sound too happy.

"Yeah, what?" Jensen snarled.

"Wasn't Gabriel supposed to be in this episode?" Jared replied. "That was how Sam and Dean figured out that it was an alternate universe, right?"

Jensen took a moment to process the implications of Jared's questions, while Jared did his best to remember exactly what had been in the script. Both men looked at each-other.

"Oh shit." they said simultaneously.
