"Daddy I'm sleepy" yawned Olivia

"Okay, you go to bed, I'll be up in a minute" said Graham.

Olivia Swan began the long walk upstairs to her bedroom. When she entered her room, and walked over to her bed something was bothering her. Her favourite soft toy was nowhere to be seen. So, after a hasty search she decided to go back downstairs.

"Dad"

"Yes Olivia"

"I can't find Lowell anywhere and without him I can't sleep"

"I know he means a lot to you and I'm sure he's around here somewhere, I'll look for him"

"Thanks Dad"

"No problem Cygnet"

"What if you can't find him?" asked Olivia.

"Then I'd have to hand my Sheriff badge in" joked Graham. After a lengthy pause, he added "either that or I'll ask your mother, she's also a fantastic Sheriff and most of the time is better at the job than I am".

"Yeah but I'm the luckiest person in the world to have you as parents" said Olivia and ambushed him in a hug.

"Well I'm going to bed, I'm guessing the longer I talk the slower the investigation will be so night Dad".

Graham searched all over the house for Lowell, he very nearly gave up but then he decided to retrace Olivia's footsteps in the past few hours to see if that helped. He went outside and walked a short distance into the woods next to where they lived, Lowell was there lying on the ground… Olivia must've brought it into the woods with her when she was playing earlier that day. Feeling extremely relieved he went back inside the house and began the ascent upstairs.

He wandered into Olivia's bedroom and took a minute to look around. He'd never admit it to anyone but he'd be lying if he said his daughter didn't have the best decorated room in the house. For starters, the wallpaper was green and even (thanks to David and Henry) had a hand-drawn castle on it. Olivia's bed was covered in fairy lights and when you looked up you could see a painted starry ceiling. In the corner, there was also numerous shelves and storage spaces, filled to the brim with all the fairytale paraphernalia from family and friends she'd received over the years.

Olivia now appeared to be fast asleep and Graham didn't want to wake her so instead he tucked Lowell next to her as close as he could manage. He kissed her on the cheek and gave her a hug. Then he walked towards the bedroom door, shutting it tightly so he wouldn't wake his daughter.
