Consider the following…
Lancer wasn't always Rin's servant but she lost Archer very early
Gilgamesh is Kirei's servant and Gilgamesh killed Archer.
On with the fic!
"Saber, take Rin away from here, NOW!" Lancer yelled to Saber so his current Master wouldn't end up like his last one. Saber nodded as a reply, she picked up Rin and ran her away as fast as she could. Rin slammed her fists on Saber's back as hard as she could and screamed, "Let me go! He's not just fighting anyone he's fighting Gilgamesh, he could die just like Archer." She started to cry she couldn't bear the thought of losing Lancer. She watched in horror as she saw the two clashing.
"GATE OF BABYLON!" was the last thing she heard and the last thing she saw were hundreds of swords flying out at Lancer and, blood, Lancer's blood. She screamed once again.
~*6 hours later*~
"Please Saber let me go back, please I need to know if Lancer is alright." Rin pleaded.
"No, Lancer said he would come back." She didn't notice when she said 'no' Rin ran out the door.
"Rin, come back here now!" Saber screamed before she ran after her.
~*With Rin*~
'Pant, pant.' She was breathing heavily from running she looked around to find her blue clad hero, she found his bloody figure lying up against the wall of the building, she ran to him tears streaming down her face. "LANCER! LANCER! LANCER!" she screamed as she ran up and cried on his chest. He embraced her with one arm, the other to injured to lift up.
"You idiot, why did you make me leave I-I-I I was so worried." She cried to him.
"I'm sorry for making you worry Rin, it was just too dangerous for you to be there, I vowed to keep you safe, I am the Cu Chulainn." He said while stroking her hair.
"Lancer, please, survive, please." She whispered
"For you, Rin. For you."
