It's her darkest secret, and it haunts her every night. Sometimes she screams, and Lucius will gently try to calm her down, thinking it's just one of those nightmares of hers. He doesn't know what they're about, and Narcissa will never tell him. She'll never tell anyone, but least of all Lucius.
"Lucius must be tired of waiting on by now." She smiles to him. "Yes we better go down, don't you think?" Abraxas smiles too, his eyes full of mischief. Narcissa doesn't like it, but she keeps smiling, nodding to his question, Its Lucius father after all, she can't make him mad.
"But… There is just so much I would like to show you…" He sounds almost as if he was seducing her. But that can't be right. It's probably just her mind playing tricks on her, so she keeps smiling. Abraxas holds out his hand, for her to take. "Come on, I'll show you down. We have such a big manor; it can be so easy to get lost." Narcissa is just relieved that he finally has decided to get back to Lucius, so she doesn't mention that it is only a couple of stairs down to Lucius, plus a turn to the right, and that she is perfectly cable of finding down there herself. She doesn't like being alone with the man, actually she doesn't like the man at all, but she can't be rude. So she takes his hand, still smiling.
Suddenly he has dragged her so close to his that their noses are touching. She doesn't want to be that close to him, she can smell his breath. It smells of rotten fish and tobacco. She tries to gentle wrench her arms out of his, still smiling. But his grip only becomes tighter, squeezing so hard that it hurts. She fights a bit more, but is careful still to smile, still to pretend that it's all right.
But then his nails dig into her skin, and she can't stop a whimper from exiting her mouth. "It hurts" She whispers, only the ghost of her smile is left now. "I know" He says, and that's when she begins to panic. "Lucius!" She screams, can't think of anything else than to get away from all of this, "LUCIUS!" Abraxas laughs, holding her even closer – she can feel his laugh drumming on her skin.
"Lucius is little occupied. He has had such a long day; I thought he could use a nap. Don't you think so too?" She shakes her head wildly, still screaming on Lucius. And then she feels his hands – slighting up under her dress, along her legs, lastly grapping her bottom and she wants to throw up. She doesn't get the change, as his mouth covers hers, sucking all air out of her.
She's almost choking. As he undresses her, she can do nothing but cough, trying to clean her mouth of the nauseating taste and smell of him; of rotten fish and tobacco, and feel the tears run down her check.
When it's all over, he tries to caress her cheek, but she draws away and whispers frighten, humiliated and most of all broken: "Just stay away from me! Never come near me again!" And somehow he doesn't. But every time she meets him forwards, to her and Lucius wedding, when Draco is born, she can see the glint in his eyes and she can almost hear his sickening thoughts - When Abraxas Malfoy finally dies, choking over his morning coffee, it's the happiest day of her life.
A/N: Abraxas's reason of death was originally Dragon Pox, but I changed it for the sake of the story. Can you guess why? This was written for the 'Harry Potter Roulette' Challenge by xXKissingSinXx. My characters were Abraxas and Narcissa and my prompt was "Just stay away from me! Never come near me again!"
