Prolouge

"Ah, #!kkkkkkkkkk!" My friend screamed next to me and I laughed joyfully. My friend and I were at the new Six Flags, down around the coast on New York. We thought that we were safe from the monstrosities, after the Raccoon City clean up. It was closed down and wiped clean of the zombie infestation slowly. But it broke back out, forcing the military, and S.T.A.R.S members to put it in quarantine. We were now on the replica Batman Roller coaster.

"Kleb, you're such a pussy!" I yelled at him through the wind, and we flipped over again, Kleb, my lifelong friend and buddy spewing curses and screaming. "Kleb, you're fourteen! Act like it!" I yelled again, and he raised his hand, probably trying to flip me off. He didn't finish because his hand slapped back onto the seat as we flipped a final time. He sighed with relief as we stopped in the loading area, and he frowned at me.

"Teletha, if you make us do one more of those stupid rides I might strangle…" He stopped as I flipped my hair in his general direction, which meant that I wasn't listening to him. I twirled my braided ponytail, and looked at him, my grey eyes showing distaste.

"Is baby afwaid? Myaby we shwood leave…" I sneered as his face screwed up, and he shook a fist at me.

"Rrr… Stop with that, for Christ's sake!" He lowered his hand and scratched his rusty red hair, his brown eyes flashing. He mumbled something.

"Come again?" I asked, looking at him hard. "Did you say something?"

"I said that, I'm afraid of heights." He looked at his feet, his dignity obviously lost.

"Hey, I was just kidding. Take it easy." I shook his shoulder, and smiled. "Come on; let's eat, if you want to. I thought I saw a Johnny Rockets over by the boat game." I grabbed his hand and he willingly let me lead him to the fast food place. We ordered our food, and Kleb paid for both of us.

"Kleb, I'm sorry that I said those things." I apologized, not wanting him to hate me.

"It's all good." He answered through mouthfuls of food. He sounded uncomfortable.

"You want to talk out back?" I asked, and he nodded, getting up. I pulled some of my silver hair from my eye sight and followed him. We exited and we walked through the few trees out behind the Johnny Rockets. "Kaleb, I now I shouldn't have said those things, I -" I began, but he put his finger to my lips. "What?" He waved me to silence and whispered that he heard something. Then I heard it to.

It was screaming.
