Valka looked up at the setting sun and sighed happily.
'Orus please protect Una,' she had asked the boy over a month ago.
'Of course don't I always?' had been his response
Valka looked at the sky she gave a soft smile Orus was like a son to her Una had told her not long ago…
'Orus lost his whole village to a tsunami and vowed since then to never stay in one place or grow attached to anyone or anything. He doesn't like to talk about it. And all I know is that his dragon Sylt raised him since the incident. Una had said when Valka had asked.
Somehow knowing Orus was an orphan made her want to protect him even more then when they first met.
A mother's prayer ran thru her mind she sang the song while walking back to the house it always comforted her on days like this. Una out flying with Orus, Hiccup with Astrid and There kids, Boden and Asta with there's, she was home alone with her thoughts. The song reminded her of Una and Orus her youngest two children. She looked up at the sky and sang.

After finishing the song she stood at the door she felt her heart throb just so.
"Mama," she heard Una yell.
"Una," she said with a smile.
"Hey," Orus said.
"Orus."
"We have to um…" Una started.
"We got to go out," Orus said.
Valka gave a small smile as they ran off.
Later that night Asta, Hiccup, Astrid, Boden, and Una yelled "Surprise."
"Oh my."
"Happy birthday Mama," Boden, Una, and Hiccup said.
"Happy birthday …Mom," Orus said with a blush.
Valka smiled "thank you" she hugged all of them till she got to Orus she held out her arms.
Hesitantly he hugged her.
Thank you all Orus was blushing the most in all honesty she had forgotten her birthday was today.
Everyone presented her with gifts from Boden a handmade ring she love little gifts like that. From Hiccup a special polish for her staff. From Una a new set of armor to replace the set she had lost during the fight with Drago years ago. And finally Orus gave her a present he had brought it was necklace.
"This is from me, Una, Night Rainbow, and Sylt." Ors said softly handing her a beautifully crafted box in side was a necklace and bracelet. Each bead was different, and crafted carefully in a lovely jade and lined with silver the lining of the box was a lovely silk.
"Oh it's lovely."
Orus blushed.
"Why are you blushing you are my son after all," she said with a warm smile.
"Orus" said Una,
"Ready."
"Yep."
"Orus protect Una," Valka said.
"Keh don't I always," Orus said.
"Una try not to get hurt," Valka said.
"Okay," Una said.
"Good bye you two," Valka said.
"Bye Mama," Una sang.
"Bye Mom," Orus said as they took off for one more flight before night came.
