A/N: Um, I don't know what happened here… One minute I'm deep in my angst WIP… the next my brain is being high-jacked, and this came out.
"Sara… your toenails are pink!"
Ok, admittedly, not the cleverest thing I have ever said.
And from her expression, she knows it.
"Huh? Oh, yeah. Do you like them?"
"Sara… they're PINK!"
"That's a 'no' then…"
What?... "What?"
"It's ok Griss… I'll take it off if you don't like it…"
"No. I… that's not… No… I just… they're pink…"
She smiles. No, she smirks, wriggling the appendages under scrutiny.
I take the chance to look at her.
She is sitting on our couch, in my jumper, and has pink toenails.
God I love this woman.
I smile.
"They look great."
