(cough) um, STORYTIME!!

I walked through the front doors of the bar my band and I were supposed to be singing in tonight when I saw him. He was sitting as far from the stage and speakers as he could. He had his usual scowl on his face, and he looked to be drinking some kind of whiskey or bourbon. Something strong by the look on his face whenever he takes a drink.

I was kind of nervous because this would be the first time he ever heard me sing. I doubt he even knew I could. But I guess tonight is the night for surprises.

I met up with the rest of my bandmates at the back of the stage to get ready for the performance of a lifetime for me when I heard my good friend Kiba say, "Are you sure about this? I know that he's out there."

I look at him and tell him with a weak smile on my face, "Yeah, I'm sure. But I want to change the song to our most recent one. Is that gonna be okay with you guys?"

Kiba, Shikamaru, and Neji all looked at me with varying degrees of anger because they knew what this song meant to me and what it meant about me and him.

"So let's give it up for the Jinchuuriki!"

"I guess that's our que. Let's do this!" I said with more confidence than I had.

The lights were shut off as we all walked on stage and got into our places. No one knew who we were because no has ever seen us play before. This would be our coming out performance so to speak.

As the lights started to fade in, fog started to roll off the stage. I was nervous but I knew this was something that I had to do. Something I need to get off my chest. And finally he would understand what this has done to me.

And then we started to play.
