As far as I know, there hasn't been a Pern book about the end of the Ninth Pass, yet- I've heard that there might be one that Anne McCaffrey and/or Todd McCaffrey are working on. Anyway, this is my impression on the last Fall (of Thread)of the Ninth Pass.
*Warning*: Spoilers!!! (Think I'm kidding? I don't think so!)

Dragons fly one last time,
Dragons flame the last of Thread;
Dragons fly all as one,
One last time, one last time.

Every Weyr flies together,
Thousands flying in the air;
Bronze, brown, blue, green and the white,
Gold queens fly, gold queens fly.

Weyrleaders watch as Thread perishes,
Weyrwomen sigh in huge relief;
Old riders nod their heads and smile,
Thread is gone, Thread is gone.

Holders come out of their stone holds,
Children dance under the clear skies,
Harpers sing their songs of victory,
Pern is free, Pern is free.

Lessa watches glad rejoicings,
Ramoth flies into the sunset;
F'lar and Mnementh gladly join them,

The dragons of Pern cry out in anguish,
They cannot see where the Benden Weyrleaders have gone;
A new age has begun on the planet,
New leaders will rise, new leaders will rise.

Other old riders follow them,
Oldtimers who saw two Passes;
More old Weyrleaders pass with their dragons,
Let the young grow strong, let the young grow strong.

Great celebration halts the mourning,
Many days of feasting to come;
The last Thread has fallen on all of Pern,

Miners shut down firestone mines,
Smith Hall stops making flamethrower tanks;
At last dragonriders can rest peacefully,
No Tenth Pass, No Tenth Pass.

But dragons must not leave the planet,

Pern will still need protecting,
Not from Thread, not from Thread.

Harpers will sing of the might of the dragons,
