Beginning
"I'm in my dressing gown," she had said.
"Yes, you are," he had replied, looking at her, while she was standing there in her sleep wear.
"There's a strange man in my bedroom," she replied back to him, rubbing a hand down her body, putting it on display for him.
"Yes, there is," he had said back, the same tone of voice, and she had somehow gotten hooked by it.
"Anything could happen," she had replied yet again to his comment.
He had looked her over, shook his head, said a quick "No," and walked off to find Rose.
It had been that moment she decided that she didn't like him. That was before she had found out that he was an alien, before he had taken Rose away. Before even knowing that it was he who had taken Rose out of Henrik's before it had blown up and left her daughter jobless.
But it was there. He had turned down her advances, and no one did that.
Perhaps she was getting old...
