He curled up against Blaine's side.

"I love you"

"I love you too" he replied, without missing a beat.

There was a calming silence between them.

Kurt was the first to brake it, "will you ever leave me?"

Blaine's eyes widened, he looked wounded, "kurt... why would you even say that?"

Kurt closed his eyes, "how can you love me?"

"Kurt," Blaine's voice cracked, "baby, I have loved you scince the day I met you and I will love you until the day that I die."

Kurt sighed, "I know you say that now but what about in 5 or 10 years... you might not love me."

Blaine sat up, his hands on eather side of kurt's face, making the slightly older teen met his gaze, "Kurt, listen to me. I. Love. You." He paused, "don't you believe me?"

"For now..."

Blaine closed his eyes, "Kurt, I want to be with you for the rest of my life, nothing can change that, nothing.

Kurt rolled on his back, "how do you know?"

Blaine leaned over the boy with the voice of an angel, "Kurt. Please just listen this time." he leaned down, inches from his lover's porcilen face. "You and I are forever. I love you and I swear to you I always will."

He reached into his pocket, pulling out a small black box.

He knitted his fingers with Kurt's, opening the box with his free hand.

Kurt starred, "is that..."

Blaine smiled, "No. This is a promise ring; a promise to love you forever. As long as you wear this ring you will be reminded that I love you, that I still do that I always will."

Silent tears caressing his cheeks.

"Kurt if you accept this ring, I promise to love you for a thousand years, I have died every day waiting for you. When I saw you I though, 'he's the one' Kurt I love you. Please be mine. For as long as we both live. I want to marry you, I want to have a family, I want to wake up to your smiling face every morning, kiss you a million more times. Someday I want to be standing, gray haired, by your side, our grandchilderen running in the yard, squealing and weaving between our legs in a game of tag. I want that for us Kurt. I can't live without you, you are my life, my only reason for existing. Please tell me you love me at least half as much and I will sleep with a smile on my face for the rest of eternity."

Kurt was amply crying now.

Blaine felt a tear slip from his eye. He couldn't hold it in anymore.

Kurt sniffed, his shoulders shaking slightly, "Blaine..." he swallowed, "you are amazing, of course I love you just as much, please, please stay with me forever."

He wrapped his arms around Blaine's neck, pulling him closer.

Blaine pulled back slightly, Kurt whined. "are you gonna let me put it on at least?"

Kurt pulled away, pouting.

Blaine smirked, "give me your hand."

Kurt slipped his hand into Blaine's without hesitation.

"Kurt I promise from this moment on that I have loved you for a thousand years and I

will love you for a thousand more."

Kurt looked with wonder as Blaine slid the small ring onto his finger.

Kurt marvel at how it glinted in the light, "it's beautiful."

Blaine looked into Kurt's eyes, "not nearly as beautiful as you."

Kurt looked up to meet his gaze.

Blaine leaned forward, capturing his lips in a kiss.

He pulled away, "a thousand years."

Kurt smiled, "and a thousand more."
