The shaded veil fell upon the bride's glowing face, her eyes dimmed. She still blocked out the brightness of the sun. My eyes darted around the glistening stars, living in my own small world. I had seen too much terror today. Tears formed at the rim of my eyes, resembling the constellation from what were miles above me. Never could this dim witted Oh Ha Ni be in utter stupidity. Of course Seung Jo would not like me. Or course not. I am just Ha Ni, that idiotic girl that loves Seung Jo so much.
"Just Ha Ni…" I murmur, shutting my eyes whilst resting my head on the railing of the Baek household.
Baek Seung Jo, the Baek's prized son, was my reason that I attempted to try hard in school. He was my everything, yet he would never like me. All of the sudden, I felt a pair of arms wrap my waist and a hot breath against my neck. I flinch and shift around to see Seung Jo staring at me, his eyes deep and meaningful. I could stay like this forever, but why was Seung Jo being so affectionate? I felt his warm chest on my back. His hand moved up my body to massage my shoulders gently.
"Just Ha Ni, huh?" Seung Jo smirks.
"Seung Jo…" I groan, trying to build up the control over my body again.
"I was watching you staring up at the sky. You looked so beautiful. Stay like that for me. And now I'm part of the picture with you," Seung Jo whispers, his breath hot against my neck.
Part of the picture with me. That is what I have imagined. That is what I have dreamt of. Seung Jo part of the picture with me.
"Oh Ha Ni. I don't know what I'd do without you," Seung Jo continues.
"You're playing with me," I spit out.
"I may be playing you like usual Ha Ni. But not today," He murmurs.
Seung Jo then stops, his hands resting on my shoulders. He spins me around, caressing my checks. He then pulls me closer, his arms around my waist. I feel so close to him. My heart beats uncontrollably. Seung Jo snickers, noticing my cheeks reddening. He knows I have been waiting for this moment. He knows how serious my infatuation is with him.
"I've been waiting for this Ha Ni. Don't love anyone but me, okay Ha Ni?" I couldn't believe the words coming out of his mouth.
I remain silent, a smile appearing on my mouth.
"I love you Ha Ni," Seung Jo confesses.
"I love you more Seung Jo," I broke the silence between us.
Seung Jo pulled me up into a deep embrace. He gently moved our faces together, until there was nothing in between us.
Her lips are so soft. So beautiful. I like. No I love seeing her like this. She's happy. I can tell. I did the right thing.
I love you Ha Ni.
