"El," she called out, exasperated. He wouldn't even look at her. "El," she called out again. Still no reply. He pretended to be very interested in a file on the case they were working on.
As she turned around and started walking out of the squad room, he called out, "Liv."
She turned around and opened her mouth to say something, but before she knew what was happening, their lips were joined in a searing kiss. Their first kiss left an unforgettable mark on both of them as they basked in the wonderful sensations the kiss created.
His last words, before she turned around and left him forever, were, "I'll wait for you. I love you." He cupped her cheek with his right hand, reached for her left hand, and kissed her palm.
All eyes in the squad room were on them. Her last words to him were, "I love you too, Elliot Stabler."
A feeling of dread and desire raced through both of them. The words I love you became prominent in both of their minds as the distance between the two soulmates became greater and greater.
