The idea is that on big D's birth day "pick one between five and nine" he gets a ton of duel monster cards but they require too much thought so he trashes them and harry finds them and keeps them as he looks threw them he finds dark magician girl and feels strongly about the card. Latter "weak maybe two" he has a night mare her duel sprit comes out and comforts him and acts as a guide
1. can have dueling but harry must still go to Hogwarts
2. seeing duel spirits is NOT common for wizards
3. harry can use shadow magic due to past
4. must go through at least five years
5. does not need to be half-blood prince compliant
6. harry Tonks or harry Hermione encouraged
7. harry Ginny frowned upon but accepted
8. dumbledore bashing encouraged
9. weasley bashing encouraged
10. shadow magic has more domestic uses

Cards can be teacher EX DMG teaches harry uses of shadow magic
Hand to hand swordsmanship anything were there's a card that could know the subject well enough to teach
When at Hogwarts muggle born know how to duel but harry is the only one who know shadow magic
Harry runs away
Harry leaves number four
Lives on streets then enters a tournament to get money
DMG helps hide his age
May or may not meat yugi and friends
Harry makes life for self then harry goes to Hogwarts
Can be forced by dumbles or chose to of free will
