icons of self-indulgence
just what we all need
more lies about a world that
never was and never will be
have you no shame? Don't you see me?
you know you've got everybody fooled
"You've always seen yourself that way haven't you? Innocent." I spat at her. Daniel was dead and it was her fault. Yet she had no shame.
look here she comes now
bow down and stare in wonder
oh how we love you
no flaws when you're pretending
Everyone believes that she is both perfect and blameless. They all adore her and made her their queen. She is a flawless actress but she will never fool me.
but now I know she
never was and never will be
you don't know how you've betrayed me
and somehow you've got everybody fooled
She betrayed my trust and destroyed my only chance of happiness. I am doing no more than trying to return the favor.
without the mask where will you hide?

I know the truth now
I know who you are
and I don't love you anymore
I saved her life and how does she repay me? She betrayed my trust to the one person I told her never to tell. I could have grown to love the little girl but hatred grew inside me instead.

Now that she is in jail, everyone will see her for what she is. A Murderer and a fool. A fool for going against me.
