A/N:

Um, I don't really know what this is. I wrote it awhile ago, though, and I thought I'd share it. I hope you make your own minds up on who it's about!

She's the girl who feels ignored

She's the girl who's feelings are stored

Like squirrels and acorns on a winter's day

Like daffodil buds in the month of May

Maybe one day she'll start to feel better

Or maybe one day she'll write her last letter

Like this one today she files them away

In the hope that in the morning she'll feel okay

She notices ugly in beautiful - a rose with a thorn or nettle

And she says to herself, "The dust will soon settle."

Perhaps a new poem will be on its way

Or she'll find she has nothing to say

She hopes and she prays that day will arrive

Then maybe she'll finally feel alive
