Reality
FMA Brotherhood One-Shot
This is my first time at writing a tragedy, so let me know what you think 'kay?

Have you ever wanted to be a part of this story? Don't, because it's not a game, it's real. I had to learn that the hard way.
There is no pause button or fast forward; you see it all, everything. Even when you don't want to. You say you're an excellent fighter, but would you have the strength to fight Kimblee or the Homunculus, or even Father? And don't even think that it'll be as easy as looks on T.V. because the reality is that when you get hit, you actually get hit, and it hurts. Because it's not a game, it's real.
When a character dies, on the good 'ole telly, you hit pause and you can cry your eyes out. You may even stop watching for a while. But here in Reality, you can't avoid seeing Elysia cry for her daddy and people that you care about die before your eyes. Because it's not a game, it's real.
And now you're lying in the middle of the battle field and the person you care about is struggling to stand up, while Father goes in for the kill. He looks over at you and smiles sadly. "I'm sorry," He says. "But I'm afraid you're stuck here. I'll protect you the best I can."
At first you don't understand what he means and when you do, you scream at him to not to do it. But he won't listen. You struggle desperately against the man holding you, but in Reality, even if you weren't hurt, you could never get out of his grip. Because it's not a game, it's real.
There's a bright flash of light and he and Father are gone, leaving you alone in this strange world. But then there is another flash of light and a young boy is now lying in the middle of the field. You cry with relief, that Al is safe, but also with sadness because you'll never see Ed again. And as you fall to your knees beside the young boy, you silently wish you could go back and save them both. But you can't, because this isn't a game, it's real.
This is Reality.
Please Review! (I feel like it would be kinda bad to do a smiley soooo…) :'(
