Ivan's violet eyes looked up at the raven haired tsar as the tsar replaced his commoner clothing with a type of clothing that Ivan was not familiar with. The Tsar looked to the curious teen with his dark eyes and could not stop a smile.

"This clothing is quite fitting for a Tsar, yes?" His voice strong.

Ivan flinched out of his state of awe and looked up to his ruler's face. "I-Indeed, sir, but..." He stared at the foreign clothing.

The Tsar, known across the country as Peter I, raised a brow. "But?"

"Where did all of this come from? I have never seen such design..." Ivan muttered shyly.

Peter's eyes grew bright with excitement and a smile graced his lips. "Oh, Ivan, from a gorgeous place! A place where true sophistication is feasting to the eyes! I have seen culture that I never knew existed! A land that is ruled by a Sun King!" He looked off into the world of dreams, forgetting that Ivan was still kneeling before him. "And since I have seen this culture," He looked back at the tiny Russian. "I want it."

Ivan's eyes widened. "Want...it?" He silently gulped nervously. "Want what, sir?"

"French culture, French language, French food, French clothing," He grinned. "French everything!"

Ivan's nervousness turned into full curiousity. "French...everything?"

"Da, my dear Ivan. This land will experience a nouvel âge!"

This is based on the fact that in the 18th and 19th centuries, nobility mainly spoke French and some didn't even know their own native tongue. BTW, I refer to Russia as a teenager, the reason behind this is because I don't know what he would be considered during this time since during his Kiev age, he was a child...

A little drabble, I meant to make longer, but I really didn't know what else to put...
