AN: So this is just a little one shot I wrote about my new favorite pairing. I completely loved Humanity. Robin's all-too-obvious crush on Zatanna was just too cute. So this fic was born. It's just my idea of Robin's thoughts that ran through his head throughout the episode.

He knew she was different from the moment he saw her. She was beautiful. The way her eyes glistened in the light. The way the blue in those eyes was contrasted by the black in her hair, which made her eyes so bold and beautiful. He fell in love the moment he saw her.
So he ran up to her and introduced himself. 'Well, that wasn't as smooth as I had wanted that to go', he thought as soon as he said his introduction. He had stuttered. When does he ever stutter? He was the one who was supposed to kill the English language- it wasn't supposed to be the other way around. But something about her just…made him lose track of everything else.
Why was he falling for her! He couldn't afford to fall for anyone. Batman always warned him to never get close, and he knew why. What if the Joker discovered his pathetic schoolboy crush on her and decided to use it against him? He would kidnap her, maybe even kill her! Was it really worth the risk?
Then there was a sign that made him know he should take the risk. "Be as chalant as you'd like." He wanted to keep talking, but he just froze in place. He could feel a goofy smile spreading across his face, but he had no control of his actions. She just used his word. She used his word! She was perfect. But his mind was screaming, 'Don't get too close!', so he trusted his better judgment. He would just be her friend. He wouldn't get too close. Though, maybe he would change his mind the next time they decided to 'kidnap' her. Yeah, that could work.
AN: Okay, that was officially the shortest fic I've ever written. And I really don't like the ending much, but I couldn't think of any other way to end it. Review and tell me what you thought of it?
