"Leonardo!"
The young assassins burst into Leonardo's workshop
"What do you need Ezio?"
Leonardo asked, a bit surprised by Ezio's sudden appearance at his home. Ezio looked a bit guilty.
"…I broke my hidden blade…"
"How did you brake it?!" Leonardo snapped at him, he had made the blade almost indestructible. Or so he thought at least.
"…sorry…it was an accident" Ezio said guiltier.
"Its fine Ezio, I will fix it." huffed Leonardo.
Ezio's face lit up and he smiled. Leonardo looked at Ezio, the look on Ezio's face was one that he'd give anything to see. He noticed something about Ezio that he had never noticed before. His body was strong, and his face was masculine. He had beautifully bronze skin, and the most kissable lips he had ever- no. No, he can't think like that. It was against his god to love another man.
"How did this happen?!" Yelled Leonardo; as he opened the hidden blade it spit out shards of metal that used to be the blade itself
"I don't know! It just shattered while I was fighting guards, I nearly died!" Ezio spat out with embarrassment. He was lying, the blade broke because he was standing on a roof messing with the leather strips keeping it on his arm when it slipped off and his feeble attempts to catch it caused it to fall off a three story building.
"It wouldn't have happened if you did a better job" Ezio tried not to be suspicious
"What was that?"
"Uh, nothing! Anyway how have you been since last time I was here?"
"I have been very busy"
Ezio noticed Leonardo was bothered by something. Ezio was no good at conversation after his father and brothers had left the earth. He tried to hide it but people could see. It affected all the Auditore's greatly… especially Ezio.. he had to watch it happen.
"Then I guess I will stop by when it's fixed then, when do you think it will be ready?"
"Three weeks" Leonardo's voice was small
"Okay well then I'll be back in three weeks" Ezio said with a fake smile
They waved goodbye and then Ezio left.
Leonardo sat down and put his face in his hands
"why is this happening?" Leo said to himself
Then a knock on the door it caused him to jump up, he began walking to the door when the knocking became more violent
"open the door!"
It was a guard.
Ezio was walking in the direction of the blacksmith for a temporary replacement of his favorite weapon when he heard yelling in the direction of his friends home. Ezio immediately began to sprint to the workshop but when he got there all he found was a destroyed workshop and as he looked franticly there was no Leonardo either.
Ezio ran out into the streets looking left and right he tried to ask bystanders what happened and where Leo was but everyone was avoiding him and one woman ran away from him.
"What's going on? Where is the painter that lives here?!" Ezio yelled
Panic had taken over his body and he stood still as he heard two guards talking to one another about a man arrested for consulting a murderer. They began to joke about them being "lovers" and doing horrid impersonations of the two acting like lovers, Ezio walked up behind one and tried assassinating him with his hidden blade but all he did was push his hand onto the guards back while holding his shoulder.
"shit"
*cue pirates of the Caribbean chase theme* I hope you liked the first chapter! This is a redo of my very first fanfiction so it would mean a lot if you left a review telling me what you think.
