A/N: Bored in English. I'd already seen the movie, so... This was the result. Couple of weeks old.
"Jem! Jem, where are you?" Scout stood on the front porch, rocking back and forth on her heels and motioning for Cecil to stay outside. She would only be a minute. "Jem!" She pushed into the house and peeked into the living room, where she found nothing, but heard the radio blaring in Jem'sroom. "Dammit, Jem," she said under her breath, making a beeline for his room. She opened the door a crack and readied herself to yell at her brother, and found herself suddenly unable to move.
Jemhad Dill pinned against the wall, and was trying his damnedest to unbutton the smaller boy's shirt at the speed of light.
"Je-em," whined Dill over the music, "what if someone comes in? What if Cal or Scout-"
"Oh, shut it," said Jem, kissing Dill to silence him. "Cal's got the day off and Scout's out. It's a damn good thing that Atticusis in Montgomery."
"But Scout could come back!"
"You worry way too much, Dillie." Jemshoved Dill towards the bed, having gotten his shirt off. "Just relax and get...down..." He furrowed his brow, hands reaching for Dill's pants, when Scout decided she didn't want to see this go any farther. She let the door swing wide open. Dill saw her first, followed by Jem, who turned to see what his lover was staring at. Their eyes went as wide as saucers.
"Uh," said Scout, "I just wanted you to know that, uh, that Cecil Jacobs and I are going...are going to the O.K. Café to share a shake... So... That's where I'll be, if you... Need me..." She hesitated for a moment, then spun on her heel and ran out, yelling at the last minute, "I won't tell Atticus!"
It was a good thing she had made Cecil wait outside.
A/N: Okay, so... That wasn't exactly what I wrote, since I don't know where that notebook is, but it's very very close. I think this is, like, the only one of these in existence? Hope you enjoyed. :D
