It was my first day of senior year. I wasn't too worried since my cousin, Felicity, was at this school and promised to help me find my feet. As I walked into the parking lot I heard a squeal.
"MONICA!" I turned at my name and yep, there was Felicity, gorgeous as ever. Everybody thinks we are sisters when they first meet us, and in a way we are, same mousy brown hair, same height and body shape. But really that's where it stops, you see Felicity got the real looks and I got the brains. Whopee.
"Hey Flic," She pulled me into a hug as soon as she could.
"OMG I can't believe you really came! We are going to have SO much fun together!" After that I sort tuned out, with the occasional nod and 'yep' Flic could go on for hours.
MY first few classes are my best, science and maths. Yep, you're looking at a class A geek folks. Unfortunately after that is P.E. Joy. We're split into boys and girls, the girls are nice enough but I'm still relieved when it's over.
Finally. Lunch. As I sit down with Flic and her friends, Jenny, Amy, Tyler and Charlie, I look around the cafeteria.
"Hey Flic?"
"Yeah?"
"Who's that lot?" I jerked my chin towards a group of beautiful boys and girls all laughing and smiling.
"Oh. They're the Cullen's-"
"Yeah and they're all like, together as in boyfriend girlfriend together." Jenny cuts in.
"Yeah. The blonde chick and the big muscled guy are Rosalie and Emmett. The pixie like girl is Alice, and she is with Jasper, the blonde boy who looks in pain. The other couple is Bella and Edward, match made in heaven everyone says. The little girl is Renesmee, Nessie. Everyone of them would do anything to protect her, especially Bella and Edward."
"Wait, they're family?!"
"Yeah they're all adopted by Dr. and Mrs. Cullen."
"SO they're not related?"
"Correct."
"That's a bit better." The rest of lunch I glanced their way often, they are all so beautiful, pale skin and gorgeous. Once I noticed Edward whisper to Bella and they both looked at me, making me quickly turn away, embarrassed.
