*Slam*
The door was slammed hard. Chattering teeth roughly dragged against each other. Clothes stuck to her body like glue, the wetness it had made it look see through. She was visibly shaking from the cold air that surrounded her. A sneeze came from her. Oh dear, seems like our friend is starting to get sick.
Have you guessed it already? Yes it's Lucy Heartfilia! Fairy Tail's sole celestial mage, which currently has 10 celestial keys! Managing to summon 2 spirits at a time! And you ask why she could easily get sick? Simple. She has low immune system.
Earlier it was sunny, birds chirping to welcome the morning. She was at the guild talking, laughing and doing what she usually does on a normal day. Talking with Levy about her current story and the next chapter that she plans her to read. Mira talking to her about the guys suitable for her, or mainly Mira practically scaring Lucy with the thought of hundreds of blind dates. Even Erza decided to chill for the day and talk to her about how she and Jellal were going.
Ruckus from the guild, from Natsu and the guys. I mean Fairy Tail wouldn't be the same if it was quiet right? The world would come to an end. Well anyway~
Afternoon came and Lucy decided to go back home, feeling tired for some reason. She wanted to sleep all night. Her muscles ached from yesterday's mission. Ah yes she'll take a long warm bath, before turning in like a log. Oh sweet bed here she come-.
Upon opening the door heavy rain poured down. It didn't help that the clouds were dark. Looks like a storm was about to come. Not bringing an umbrella was a bummer, but she ran under that heavy rain until she reached her house.
Sinking in the warm water was lulling her to sleep, dizziness accompanying it. Not wanting to drown, she got out of the tub, dressed and laid on the bed. Not caring that her hair was still wet, her vision blurred and soon enough she was fast asleep.
Not long a certain pink haired dragon came in through the window, carefully closing the window as not to wake the sleeping girl. Quickly drying his clothes he approached her. Her face was flushed, her lips parted slightly, and her breathing was ragged. He frowned.
"Silly girl" He whispered, climbing beside her. Softly running her fingers through her hair, drying her still wet hair. His other hand at her waist pulling her closer, she was shivering. Placing a kiss on her forehead, tightening his hold on her.
"Get well Luce" He said before pulling the covers over them, sleep taking over him.
He wants his best friend to be healthy, not all sick. He loved her as one of his precious nakama even more really, but he wasn't going to say that to her for the meantime.
