When their bodies are entwined, his lips pressed against hers – she is everything he wants that he never knew he needed – he whispers his love for her between kisses; that's when his wife walks in to catch her husband entangled with another.

After telling her of his night out with the pilots – he conveniently left out that Starbuck would he there; she decided to surprise him but she was the one who got the surprise – both Apollo and Starbuck embraced in each other's arms.

It had been over a year since they saw each other; their eyes instinctively find each other through the crowd gathered on Galactica. When their eyes meet, both push their way amidst the civilians and crew alike – they reach one another and she throws her arms around him; he smiles, pulling her into a long anticipated kiss, lingering a little to long – forgetting their respective partners are looking on.

"I love you, Kara," he tells her as he brings her closer. She sighs wistfully and whispers his name – he tells her that everything will be all right and she looks up at him with those piercing green eyes, his heart swells. She murmurs three little words as the space between them closes in and soon they are holding each other, letting the world fall away – unaware of the presence of another standing in the shadows, whose heart is breaking.

"It's been a long time," she tells him and pushes him up against the wall forcefully. "Miss me?" she teases before kissing him hungrily – just as she walks in, alerting them of her presence with a horrified gasp.
