John and Lillian rider lead a simple life well as simple as a spy could live. You see john was a spy he works for MI6 but is in deep cover in Scorpio which is a terrorist cell it stands for Sabotage CORruPtIon Assassination. He had a potage in Scorpio called Yassen Gregorovich they had become very close and Yassen didn't really like Scorpio but he needed the money as his secrete wife was having a baby. He had arranged with John Rider to give his child to a friend who couldn't have kids, to protect the child as Yassen didn't want his to have that type the of life he led. John agreed he said he would give the child to the Potters. So Yassen and his wife said goodbye to their son who they had named Harry Gregorovich. Several months later Yassen's wife was killed he never found out who did it. He missed his son so much but knew he was taken care of. He didn't have any one to comfort him because John and Lillian rider had been killed by MI6 in a plane crash which is what Julia Rothman head of Scorpio operations had told him.
Mean while miles away James potter sat contemplating his life when his wife Lilly came in with there adoptive son Harry. "James what's wrong"
"I feel so guilty in making Yassen think we were dead"

They still had a huge secrete they were wizards so the disappeared of the plane when James felt something wrong. So they left Yassen think they were dead. It was just after Harry's 1st birthday when Voldermort the wizarding world most evil enemy struck. He entered the house with a simple alohamora. He proceeded to kill James, while he was distracting Voldermort to give lily time to escape with Harry but Voldermort killed him with a simple Advara Kevara he went up the stairs into Harry's bedroom lily stood in the way "move aside you silly girl I only want the boy"

"fine Advara Kevara" she fell dead "now time for you to die brat Advara Kevara" as the spell hit Harry it rebounded and hit Voldermort Ripping his soul from his body he fled it left Harry with nothing but a lightning bolt scar.
Miles away Yassen had a very bad feeling he called the potters a strange man answered and said his name was Hagrid, Yassen asked where the potters were, Hagrid said dead Yassen hung the phone up. He cried for his lost son like no grown man should.. He couldn't find john's son, his godson. As he just disappeared when John and Lillian died. He trough himself in to his work becoming the most vicious assassin to exist after his brother in all ways except blood john rider.
No one know Harry was adopted so Albus Dumbledore but him with his only living relatives. Petunia and Vernon Dursley.
