Togusa stretched and hovered his hand over his lover's hair. Touching it gently, he ran his fingers through the fine strands. The brownish gray hairs rested against his pale skin. Arms tightened, hands pressing against his back. "Hey… this feels good."

"I love you."

Batou looked at his lover, the silver eyes staring straight. "Yeah. Me too. No regrets?"

"No. I have to tell Tani. That's not a regret. I refuse to lose my kids. I won't make her stay with me. I can't exactly tell her she can't have a lover. I do… don't I?"

"Yeah, you do. And that's permanent." Batou hugged him tightly again.

"Yeah."

Batou pulled up outside the house. Togusa was leaning against the wall, eyes closed. Batou stared at his lover for a moment before honking. "Get in."

Togusa walked over, a look of weariness on his face. Getting in, he tilted the seat back and closed his eyes. The car took off quietly. Ten minutes later, they were pulling into the garage of Batou's building.

"C'mon."

Togusa stood up and waited for the elevator. "She wants a divorce."

"Well we knew she might. Can't blame her, but on the up side that leaves you all to myself. I can't argue with that."

Togusa gave him a hairy eye and pushed open the door. "I knew you would find a bright side."

Batou laughed and headed to the kitchen for a beer. Heading out, he saw Togusa lying on the couch. Moving over to pick up a gift, he dropped the package on Togusa's stomach. A whoof of air made the human sit up. He tuned over the package. A small gray box with a pink ribbon. "Cute. What is it?"

"It's your White Day gift."

Togusa looked at his lover and opened the box. A gold box with Marie-Belle in green pressed into the top. Opening it, he saw a small collection of colored chocolate. On top of these was a key. He knew what it was. "Thanks."

"Come on, bed time."

Togusa stretched and put the house key on his key ring, happy he moved closer and kissed Batou gently. "Yeah."

Kuze turned to Proto and smiled. "I win."

Proto shook his head and started the car. "Nuts. Only for tonight. Tomorrow, you're mine."
