Misunderstanding and Assumptions

A poem based on the coffeeshop scene in ep24 of season 1. From Harima's point of view as he sits at the bar listening to Tenma and crew. enjoy.

This is inspired by the scene in ep 24 season 1 at the coffeeshop. Written from Harima's viewpoint.

Misunderstandings and Assumptions

Here I sit at bar of a coffeeshop,

The coffeeshop that is most frequented by Tenma and her friends.

I sit here drinking coffee,

Feeling a strong sense of foreboding come over me.

I can hear them quite well,

The issue is me and rich girl.

The issue is also me and Yakumo.

What the hell happened at school for this to occur?

I sit here being attacked verbally,

And unable to do anything about it.

For if I move,

They will swarm over me and have me for dinner.

And all because Yakumo refused to elaborate.

Dammit.

My life is over due to assumptions made by Tenma,

Based on her sister Yakumo's miswording.

Therefore no one understands.

Poor guy.. and it is Yakumo's fault for misunderstanding and not correcting the others. If she had simply said something to the effect of non romantic art assistance, then perhaps the entire scene could've been averted. anyway, hope you enjoy reading it.
