Her hair was shorter since the last time the woman saw it, and her frown was more prominent but there was no doubt in the she-Guado's mind of the woman who stood before her. Same dark clothing and same crimson eyes from all those years ago, fighting alongside each other for a cause they thought was right. A cause that took many lives and left their friendship broken.

The she-Guado took a step back as the unwanted memories came flooding back: the laughs they shared under the hot desert sun, the conversations they had under the stars, the screams that filled a cavern deep in a forgotten gorge, and the tense goodbyes exchanged between five friends. The woman shook her head as if to clear her mind of the memories, aware of the curious gazes that observed her.

Forcing a smile upon her lips, the woman extended a hand in greeting. "Nice to meet you, Paine, my name is Sirideain but I prefer to be called Siri."
