Yes, I am creating a new fanfic. But this one will be short.
Disclaimer: Sadly, I do not own RK. Boo.
Onto the story!
Lovers of Another Kind
Many stories you have heard before are about two people in love. They both are so much alike, and they are both in love. Sometimes they have hard times confessing their love for one another. This is a story, the same love story like there has always been, but oh so different from the fairy tales…
Beams of sun rays poured onto the Kamiya dojo on the first day of spring. Birds sung, and flowers bloomed. There was a sweet aroma in the air. The rays shone on the recently cleaned floor, so it made a beautiful shine. It was so peaceful on this ideal day.
A young woman with ebony colored hair which flowed down to past her shoulders had woken up. Her shining sea-blue eyes opened wearily, and she sat up on her futon. She had on a night gown, which was quite revealing.
Meanwhile, a certain fiery red haired man was on his way to wake up everyone for breakfast. He approached the first person he was going to wake up, and slid the door open carefully. His soft violet eyes widened as he saw her on her futon. She noticed his presence, and slowly turned around. She blushed as he stared, but it turned to fuming anger.
"Kenshin no baka! Get out!" she yelled as she threw the wooden bucket next to her, which was still halfway full of water at his head.
"Oro?!"
It managed to hit him smack on his forehead, and water splashed all over him.
"Sorry!" she squeaked.
"It's alright Kaoru-dono!" said the man named Kenshin with a laugh.
Kaoru smiled but then she said, "Get out!"
Kenshin obeyed, as he dashed to the next room to wake Kaoru's apprentice up, named Yahiko Miojin.
"Time to wake up Yahiko!" Kenshin said brightly. "Breakfast is ready!"
"FOOD! I'm starving!" the boy exclaimed as he ran over Kenshin, running to the kitchen. Although that's what happened every morning, Kenshin never succeeded to get run over.
"Oro…" Kenshin said with his eyes swirling. "That's the second time in five minutes…"
His eyes focused again and he started walking back to the kitchen.
"This food is great Kenshin! It gets better every time!" Kaoru complimented as he entered the room.
"No, it's just you are a pig, and you get even more piggy every day. That's why you're so ugly." Yahiko mocked.
"Now Yahiko, that's not very nice-…" Kenshin began.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?! YOU'RE GOING TO GET IT YAHIKO!" Kaoru shouted across the table.
"Nah nah! Ugly!" taunted Yahiko.
"You're the pig!"
"No you are!"
"You!"
"You!"
Kenshin had a hard time settling them down, but eventually did.
"Hello one, hello all!" exclaimed a voice they all recognized.
"Hey Sano!" Yahiko replied, as he dropped the frying pan he held to hit Kaoru's head. Instead, it landed on her foot. Sanoske Sagara had spiky brown hair which made him look like a rooster, adding to the fact he was really tall. He had the "evil" sign on the back of his jacket.
"OWWWWWWW!! YAHIKO!" Kaoru shrieked.
"Uh-oh…" Yahiko said, grinning sheepishly.
Kenshin had to hold Kaoru back from beating Yahiko up.
"Hehe… I think I'll go to the Akebeko today to help Tae and Tsubame! Bye!" Yahiko said quickly and nervously. He dashed out the gates.
"Er- I got to go… uh… uh… help Megumi out at the clinic! Bye!" Sano said in the same way Yahiko did, but grabbed some breakfast before leaving.
Kaoru, still fuming with anger stomped out the kitchen to her room.
Kenshin chuckled as he cleaned their breakfast platters.
