Chapter 1: The Weekend
It's the beginning of Kagome's sophomore year in high school and she loved it so far. She was happy to be single and glad she went to Homecoming without a real date, because she went with her one of her best friends Vikki! They had a blast hanging with a group of girls dancing around on the gym floor with terrible music and just have fun taking pictures! She was in good classes and had great teachers and how could life this year suck?
Kagome was sitting at home chillin on her Facebook and her cell, while 3 of her best friends were at camp for the weekend- Inuyasha, Kikyou, and Sesshomaru. Kagome had Sango of course but Sango had a job and she was busy with that. Shippo was off hanging out with his girlfriend, Brittany; and so she was pretty much alone. She had other friends but they were busy too. Kagome wasn't the best of friends with Miroku or Koga she normally just talked to them in class or said hi to them in the hallways.
It was mid-fall and in Japan and everything was so crisp and beautiful. The air had a chill and a slight breeze was there but Kagome enjoyed it. It was a Saturday afternoon and Kagome knew her friends would be back tomorrow afternoon. She wanted to hear ALL about camp!
She wasn't too eager to hang out with Kikyou, although they were they were "the best of friends". Kagome didn't really trust her very much. She was a great friend to have fun with and do crazy things. Kikyou would only be nice when she felt like it and when she wasn't bitching other people out and talking shit about people. Kikyou knew almost everything about Kagome, even the fact that Kagome used to have a major crush on Inuyasha! Kagome knew that in her heart that she stopped liking Inuyasha months ago! Kikyou never believed her when she said she didn't like him that way anymore. Kagome and Inuyasha were just good friends. Inuyasha had found out from other people that Kagome might like him, so he asked her and she said yeah, but she said I used to but not anymore and they left it at that. Sango being Kagome's closest friend and most trustworthy friend she knew that Kagome hadn't like Inuyasha since late September and it was November!! Sango knew from gossiping about guys that Kagome sort of liked another guy named Koga but wasn't sure. Kagome definitely knew that she thought he was cute!
A day passes on and it is now Sunday afternoon. Kagome calls Kikyou to see if she can hang out. Kikyou replies
"Yeah, I would love to hang out! But I have to tell you something!!!!!"
"TELL ME!!"
"I can't…yet…but maybe with a persona with me…but I have to talk to him first.
"So it's a guy?? Oh my goodness?! WHO??!"
"Yeah it's a guy from camp! But I'll tell you at school tomorrow after I talk to him!"
"Ok. So are we still hanging?"
"Lemme ask my mom."
"Kay."
(2 minutes pass. You hear muttering in the back)
"Nah, sorry I can't hang girly. Sorry my mom needs me to rake the yard."
"Okie dokie! Well see you tomorrow!"
"Kay! Bye! Love you!!"
"Love you too! Rawr!!" (That's their thing. They say rawr because it means I love you in dinosaur)
