AN's: Written for Clawen week on tumblr. Day 5: Long awaited. Short and kind of silly.

Claire ran down the steps at the sound of the door opening.

"Did you get it? Where is it?"

"Nice to see you too, sis." Karen held in a laugh as she dropped her keys and purse on the table near the door. She kept one hand behind her back.

Claire rolled her eyes and placed her hands on her hips. "Hi Karen! So nice to see you!" Her tone was sarcastic, but she still smiled. "Now where it is?"

Karen eyed her. "I'm still not sure you should…you should be resting…"

And then Claire did something that she hadn't done since she and Karen were little.

She whined.

"Kareeeen! Give it to me noooooow! "

She even stamped her foot for good measure.

Karen used her free hand to cover her sister's mouth. "Okay, okay! Jeez you want to stay awake fine but don't wake the whole house! Trust me, you'll regret it later."

She removed her hand.

Claire pouted at her and finally, Karen conceded with a sigh.

"Fine…here." From behind her back Karen presented Claire with the most fabulous thing she had ever seen.

A caramel mocha Frappuccino.

Claire took it carefully, savoring the feel of the cold beverage in her hand. Slowly, she brought the straw to her lips and closed her eyes as she took a long sip.

Ahh…finally…after all this time…nine long months… caffeine in the form of chocolate caramel coffee goodness.

She swallowed and opened her eyes.

"Thank you," She said with a sigh.

Karen rolled her eyes again and patted her younger sister's cheek. "You're welcome. I'm going to start dinner… try not to ruin your appetite too much."

Claire smiled as she followed her sister down the hall. While Karen made a left into the kitchen, Claire turned right towards the living room. The sight that met her eyes made her smile wider.

Zach and Gray were on the floor, eyes glued to the TV screen as the played some video game or another.

"Zach!" Gray shouted as he elbowed his brother. "That's cheating!"

"It's not if your opponent sucks!" Zach elbowed him back.

"Gray, you gotta block that attack dude." From his spot on the couch, Owen watched his nephews' antics as he cradled his and Claire's newborn daughter in his arms.

Claire watched them, eyes growing misty as she thought about everything they had been through and how long it had taken them to get to this place.

They were a family.

Owen looked up at her, his features tired but his smile so wide Claire thought she would burst. He nodded at her drink. "How is it? Worth the wait?"

Claire leaned against the door frame and took another sip as Owen looked back down at Charlie.

"Definitely."
