she wrap her Jacket around her tightly as the early morning breeze whisk through her, who was she fooling she have become obsess, Time was passing her by, for three years She had tried to control her overpowering desire and love for him. But the urge had become too great. So here she stood in the shadow, hours before she was due to start work, watching as he and the man she has come to hate leave to take their son to the babysitter. As they pass, she move farther into the background making sure her present is undetected. She would die if he saw her
As their image disappeared from her sight, she emerge from the shadows to sit alone on a nearby bench
It was too early for her to start work. So she waited patiently as the time slowly passes. Looking out over the bay, she smile at the memory of his voice ,the smile that grace his face ,the twinkle in his eye and the rare arch he something did with his eyebrow, feeling of his hand brushing against her. It was so obvious his feeling for her was mutual.
That why she finally decided today would be the day that she let him know exactly how she felt ,she had keep quiet long enough, why should they both continue to fight what is so oblivious to them both. They were a perfect match from the first day their eyes met across the counter.
She couldn't help but shed a tear for the little tyke who would be hurt by the change in his life
Looking at her watch and making sure she had all her belonging. She went to work as usually greeting her co–worker with a smile, as always they act as if she didn't exist. But she didn't care today would be the day she finally let Her true love know how she felt and they could finally commit to each other.
As he walk toward her with a smile that would have made a school girl faint. She frowns as he walk pass, totally ignoring her. She turns swiftly to see what had diverted his attention from her.
"Good afternoon' He said with a sad smile. I'm here to pick up the order for Harkness/Jones.
"Hi, Ianto, Give me a couples minutes" replies Emma. The employee that had taken Annie place at Jubilee pizza .No one new what really happen to her only Ianto and Torchwood three knew and Ianto would carry that guilt for the rest of his life.
She turns to approach him placing her hand on his shoulder, but it goes through his body, she began to hyperventilate,
'' what is going on''.she scream getting no reply .Ianto doesn't answer she notice he's staring at a photo on the wall behind the counter,follow his stare she realize it was a picture of her, she had been killed three years ago, She let out a earth shattering scream that would have broken every window if her voice could have been heard.
Collapsing to the floor as pain shot through her body, she cried out NO, No, No, She had dream of them going out on dates, him kissing her, letting him know she like him. She had waited to long now it was too late.
Composing myself she walk over to Ianto placing a kiss on his cheek , If she wasn't listen she would have miss it, he whispered her name (Annie) as a tear slid down his face.
After collecting his order, Ianto exit Jubilee pizza heading back to the hub. While the restless spirit of Annie vanish, only to return every day repeating the same scenario over and over again longing for her lost love
