My Little Girl

Logan smiled as he watched his daughter, Harmony, Harm for short, practice in the danger room with the other students. To him, it seems like it was yesterday that this young lady who looked just like him came to the door of the mansion, showed off her abilities and became a student. Harmon's abilities were she could heal rapidly, like her father, and transform into any animal. The moment she saw millions of memories came back, including when she was born.

Gotta hold on easy as I let you go.
Gonna tell you how much I love you,
though you think you already know.
I remember I thought you looked like an angel wrapped in pink so soft and warm.
You've had me wrapped around your finger since the day you were born.
Your beautiful baby from the outside in.
Chase your dreams but always know the road that'll lead you home again.
Go on, take on this whole world.
But to me you know you'll always be, my little girl.

He remembered one time when she was four years old, in fact it was the last he saw her before Striker came for him, that she came home from preschool with a bloody nose because she had gotten into a fight with a bully who call her a freak, so she hit him. Logan was so mad, but she gave a smile with her crooked teeth and that just melted his heart. That night while she slept with her favorite stuffed Scooby-Doo, he whispered "I love you baby" as he turned he swore he heard her say, "I love you more, daddy"

When you were in trouble that crooked little smile could melt my heart of stone.
Now look at you, I've turned around and you've almost grown.
Sometimes you're asleep I whisper "I Love You!" in the moonlight at your door.
As I walk away, I hear you say, "Daddy Love You More!".

Your beautiful baby from the outside in.
Chase your dreams but always know the road that'll lead you home again.
Go on, take on this whole world.
But to me you know you'll always be, my little girl.

He watched as Harmony and Gambit married. He remembered when Gambit asked for her hand. All He could think of was:

Someday, some boy will come and ask me for your hand.
But I won't say "yes" to him unless I know, he's the half
that makes you whole, he has a poet's soul, and the heart of a man's man.
I know he'll say that he's in love.
But between you and me. He won't be good enough!

Your beautiful baby from the outside in.
Chase your dreams but always know the road that'll lead you home again.
Go on, take on this whole world.
But to me you know you'll always be, my little girl.

Logan had just helped Harm tuck April, his granddaughter into bed. Harm carefully touched her fathers arm and wrapped him into a hug and tearfully said "No matter how old I get daddy, I'll always be you little girl."

Hope you guys like it. I love this song and wanted to make it into a fanfic.
