Title: Respect…Or Maybe Something More?

Notes: I was just struck for the urge for Boukenger drabble writing. No spoilers. Masumi is a little OOC, though (at least I think so). Will switch between Masumi's POV and Sakura's POV. Reviews are love!
Masumi's POV:
He calls her 'Sakura-neesan', which means something along the lines of a sister, but one that he respects. One of the reasons he respects her is because she's different from Natsuki, who he's been around ever since he rescue her. She's tough, and she doesn't let anyone push her around. He likes that about her, but of course he'd never let anyone know that.
For some reason, Masumi has always hated showing his emotions, because he thinks it makes him more vulnerable. Vulnerable means it's easier for people to hurt him. And if he's to be the number one treasure hunter, he better not have any vulnerability. Because then it's just so easy for him to lose control, and lose his dream.
When they were with Yamatani-san, and he started to lose his temper, she put his hands on his mouth to stop him from talking. No one, not even Natsuki had dared to do that to him before. Another reason for him to respect her. She seems fearless at times, and he likes that in girls. Again, something he'd never let out. So, he wonders if he'll ever be brave enough to voice his feelings, and if he does; how she'll respond.
Sakura's POV:
She likes it when he calls her 'Sakura-neesan'. It gives her pride, knowing that he trusts and respects me. She's not sure if she'd like to be thought of as a sister, but oh well. It's like she know that he'll always be looking out for her.
He always seems mad at something or someone, and she often wonders why. Maybe, deep inside of her, she wants to try to make that anger go away. Maybe that's why she hides her feelings, and seems closed-off to people. But that's how she is. She can't help it.
Maybe, someday she'll take the next step. Until then, she'll just hide behind that tough exterior of hers. Because under that façade is a girl. A girl, who unfortunately happens to be attracted to Masumi Inou.
