It Just Happened
There wasn't much he could do.
As she watched her childhood friend do several horrifying back flips until he finally landed on the ground and screamed out of sheer shock, all he could do is reach out and grasp her hand. As he stared into her her scared blue eyes, he attempted to smile.
"Believe in him."
Yuzu looked at him and squeezed his hand back, smiling softly as she did. He might not be her childhood friend (not really) but the bond they built over the last couple of days felt strong and ... different ... to her. She couldn't understand why. What was so special about him? What did he have that Yuya didn't? As her eyes drifted back to her friend's prone form, now being carried on one of those medical strechers, she couldn't find a reasonable answer. It just happened.
"Yuzu?"
"Let's go..." holding his hand, she began to run down the steps, attempting to get to Yuya when the Security got in their way.
Well, at least there never was a dull day with Yugo around.

She was about to step out and duel the famous Enjoy duelist whe she felt him touch her arm.
"I will be fine." Yuzu grinned at him. "After all, if you can do it, it shouldn't be that hard for me to do the same."
"Still... be careful." Yugo told her. "It's your first time on a bike after all, even if it drives itself, you still need to keep your balance unless..."
"I know." she tugged her arm free and gave him a hug as the blonde woman's cheerful voice rang through the speakers. "I need to go. Be back soon!" with that, she walked off into the light, leaving him behind to worry.
Worry and hope that she doesn't end up like her childhood friend. He wouldn't be able to bear that.
