Cinderella looked into the mirror and saw herself in a beautiful gown, that she could have never imagined herself wearing.
The dress was a light blue, that made Cinderella's eyes pop. It was a beautiful and shimmering gown, much like the one she'd worn to the ball, a few months prior. But this dress was for something completely different than a ball. This dress was for her to meet the king, her future father-in-law. She was very nervous about it, but it somehow made her feel at ease to be in such an amazing dress.
She took one last look into the mirror, and with a sigh, she walked out of the bedroom that she shared with the prince. At first, she didn't want to share the same bed as him, fearing that he would feel awkward with her sleeping beside him. But, she soon realised, that it had been his idea to put them in the same bed. The thought made her blush at the time, but now, it only seemed right that they share a room, considering that they were going to soon share a life.
The prince met her right outside of their room, and as soon as she stepped out of the doorway, he claimed her lips. His kisses were always sweet at the start, but as the kiss continued, it would become more demanding and heated. Cinderella wouldn't admit it, but his kiss made her feel alive, which she hadn't felt since her father had been alive. The prince woke up a part of her that had been dead for years.
After their kiss, the prince took her arm and lead her to his father's chambers. He gently pushed open the door to reveal the short old man.
The king took one look at the couple and asked one question that had caused the prince to burst into laughter.
"So, when are my grandchildren going to be born?"
Cinderella looked confused, and turned to her fiancee.
"As soon as we get married, you'll have your grandchildren." the prince said, still trying to control his laughter.
"Good, good! Get to it then, my boy!"
The prince laughed, took Cinderella's hand, and lead her back to their room.
"So, Cinderella, when would you like to be married?"
She smiled at him. "Today, so we can get right to giving your father those grandchildren that he wants."
The prince laughed and kissed her.
Cinderella returned the kiss.
The kiss was sweet and passionate, everything a girl ever dreams about.
Today was her day, and there was nothing that anyone could do to make it a bad one.
So this is love. she thought.
