It was nighttime at Vergil's apartment he had recently came back to earth from the underworld after having been defeated by Dante as Nero angleo. He was still getting accustomed to normal life but fortunately yamato and his half of the amulet were by his side once again. Now he was going about his day to day life trying to find things to pass his time. Despite how human the contraption was Vergil had recently found the computer to be a good time wasting hobby as he could surf the internet for hours at a time. And naturally as he went deeper into the bowels of the web the more familiar he became with its culture. It didn't take very long before he found out about the term brony and curious to what it meant exactly he looked it up. "An adult male or female that's a fan of the show my little pony friendship is magic ...what on earth?" Vergil said as he read. "There are people ...fully grown people who watch a show so obviously aimed at adolescent girls ?" Asked Vergil. "And why exactly do they do that what's the appeal ?"said Vergil. " Hmm...its seem there are also anti bronys who mock and insult the adult fans of this show or actively hate them ...mocking can be attributed to simply human foolishness but why insult and hate ?" Vergil said. "I may not understand why they like it but it is simply a television show right ?" Said Vergil So as the result of curiosity Vergil decided to watch episodes of the show to try and see if he could figure out why it was so popular. He watched the first 21 episodes of the show and once his skeptic side was put to rest he actually found himself enjoying the shows humor and optimistic atmosphere. He even strangely found himself wanting to see more. He watched fan works and even the EG movies. He personally didn't mind the human versions of the pony's even taking the time to look at fanart of them failing to notice that most of the other bronys hated the two movies. He found himself really liking the character of pinkie pie and he was beginning to become a fan of rainbow dash as well and for awhile he was happy. But u see Vergil had yet to tell anyone about the fact he was a brony and he had no plans of telling anyone. However he also wanted to buy things related to the show ...so he came up with an idea if the shows target audience was young girls he need only bring a young girl with him claiming to be buying it for her. But what young girls did Vergil even know ...there was Patty the orphan girl his brother had taken in but Vergil didn't want to go through the process of getting her to willingly go along with his plan . So he had an idea he would hypnotize her brainwash her somehow ...but how would he do it ? "There must be some demonic artifact ...some book that could tell me where it is...I need only to learn the location then I can obtain it." Vergil thought to himself. Eventually he stumbled upon some ruins that were said to have a powerful demonic eye residing within them but to get to the eye many demons would need to be fought and slain. With Yamato and the Alastor he had taken from his brother in exchange for allowing him to keep the Irifit gauntlets and his own Beowulf gauntlets by his side Vergil slowly made his way to the ruins.
"And to think I'm going to all this trouble ...for plushies and possibly a shirt ...what has become of me ?" Said Vergil . "I can remember a time when my goal was to gain ultimate demonic power my fathers power defeat the demon king and rule over the underworld...and now my goal ...is toys." ... Life is a strange funny thing at times." Vergil mused. " Well no matter at least I'm up and doing something its been quite sometime since I've fought it should be a great way to kill some boredom.".
Vergil finally made it to the ruins they were white with grass and leaves surrounding them as he did several Axe wielding creatures came into existence around him they were black and orange in color with demonic horns residing on the three heads each one had. With an Axe in both of there hands the creatures roared and advanced. Vergil drew the Alastor and began charging multiple summoned swords around him wielding the Alastor gave him the ability to fly as well as increase his speed to a extremely high level. And the sword could shoot out lightning allowing for a powerful long ranged attack. Vergil began firing lightning at the demons electrocuting them to death while his summoned swords surrounded them piercing there vital organs. Although the dark slayer had succeeded in killing some of them a few more still remained so he flew up into the air and began quickly unleashing a series of downward strikes upon the creatures . Some were defeated others had managed to block or sidestep the attacks .Vergil finished the combo by performing a stinger successfully stabing through one of the Axe wielders heads .The Axe wielders responded by counterattacking either attacking with both axes simaltaniously or throwing them at Vergil. Vergil simply conjured up more summoned swords to act as a shield then redirecting the swords to act as a counter attack of his own after using the dark slayer style to teleport to a different location on the battlefield. After allowing more lightning to surrond the blade Vergil threw the alastor in a Round Trip finishing off the remaining Axe wielders. "Well ...seems my battle strength hasn't diminished after all this time..." Vergil stated. Vergil continued on his way to the artifact when he came to a door which he proceeded to kick down. As he entered Vergil noticed shadows on the floor ...strange for a room so dark there was no light to cast a shadow...Vergil then realized what it meant. The scythe wielding demons known as the seven hells rose up around him. Vergil stood perfectly still regarding the creatures with an icy stare . The creatures let out a battle cry charging in his direction. Vergil partially unsheathed Yamato unleashing a judgment cut storm slaughtering the creatures as they moved in his direction . Still the demons proceeded to rush forward and once the creatures had moved into close range of Vergil he quickly unsheathed Yamato at blinding speed utilizing the Laido and cleaving the creatures by repeatly sheathing and unsheathing Yamato piercing the reapers hearts with its extremely sharpened point stabing them viciously. Some of the demons managed to swing there scythes in an attempt to strike Vergil's head or stomach but with great agility Vergil dodged the attacks and took advantage of the openings by once again quick drawing and butchering the Hellspawn. Once again Vergil was victorious cleaning and resheathing Yamato slowly he proceeded onwards. Looking ahead he could finally see the artifact so he advanced in its direction. But as he did the ground shook and a gigantic two headed demonic creature appeared one head was that of a dragon the other a tyrannosaurus but there was something dark about its energy there was no doubt that this was also a creature of the underworld.
