I suddenly awoke, vaguely aware I was no longer in my room. Looking around I couldn't see anything, it was cold, dark, and, after touching the ground, wet. Wherever I was, why was I here? How did I get here? And am I alone? I heard a noise behind me and I jumped onto my feet. I prepared myself for a collision, but was still swept off my feet. Stunned from my impact with the floor, the person had time to grab me and start running. I closed my eyes tight, and thought hard. I've never been caught off guard like this before. How did this happen. I've never been so clueless in my life. Whatever was going on, all I knew was I had to get away, and fast. First, how could this person see? I grabbed at my captor's face, and felt a mask. Yanking it off, we both tumbled to the ground. I sprung up once again, and pulled the mask over my eyes. I could now see. But looking around, there was no one in sight. I sprinted towards a door across the room of which seemed to be in a warehouse of some sort. Shoving the door open, I forced my way through the entrance. I started to run again, but had to come to an abrupt halt. I peered over the edge of a 20-story building. Dead-end, you could say. I again was at a loss. Worse yet, I could hear someone approaching again, faster than ever. If I didn't think of something, there's no telling what would happen to me. I turned and faced the edge again, allowing myself one more moment of thought. One moment too much. Before I knew it, he was upon me. I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head. Falling in what seemed like slow motion, I turned to get a glimpse of my attacker. I saw lips curve up in a familiar, evil way. Vision fading in and out, all I could manage was to say, "Hiroaki Yagami?"
