Kiba had rushed to his room as he heard his parent's fighting…again.
No bodies watching as you cry yourself to sleep.
He tried to think of something less painful as the blows began to echo throughout the house.
A sweet lullaby running through your head as she passes through your mind.
Hinata! She had always been there for him and was always giving him strength. Just thinking of her brought a small smile to his lips.
You keep screaming. You don't want them to leave.
You keep crying. You don't want them to walk away.
They feel so far away.
They were getting divorced weren't they? He heard as his mom began to cry and his dad stormed out of the house.
No body's watching as you cry your heart out.
You scream and shout!
He yelled out to them as he saw the shadow of his dad disappear and the light from his mom's eyes start to dwindle.

Always, the thought of Hinata would ease his mind. He remembered when he first met her and she had always been so kind. She knew about his parents and worried endlessly over him. She was a true angel on earth.

The truth was that his parents were strangers to him. He knew he could never call out to his father in his times of need and he knew his mother could never offer him the warm embrace he so desperately needed.
