Ok… This is my first fan fiction...its going to be a NaruxHina one, the cutest couple ever! So, anyway, please read. :-) Enjoy! (Also this takes place after Naruto brings Sasuke back. You know, if he does)

Chapter 1
A certain blond walked down the street, feeling heartbroken, for this was the umpteenth time asking a certain pinkette for the most casual of dates and being turned down.
'What does she see in that teme? All he does is ignore her and push her away. And all she does is act like that's the greatest thing he could do. And every time she gets her little heart bruised she comes crying her little ass over to me, but not once could I get a SINGLE date!''
Naruto became more furious by the second as he thought about his life-long crush and his life-long rival.
'And every time I end up having to cheer her up, and the cycle just starts all over.'
Just as he thought this, those two people whom he had just mentioned where across the street. Sakura was tagging behind Sasuke, most likely trying to get a date. And he just kept walking like this was normal for a girl to follow him everywhere he went (it probably was).
And then just when she was pushed away and yelled at she started crying.
'Serves her right… I mean, she's just gonna bounce back anyway, right? But, what should I say to her when she comes crying over here…maybe I should just speak my mind… then she'll know how I feel.'
Now Sakura saw Naruto across the street, but didn't want to go over there, otherwise she'd look too desperate. She waited until Naruto went a little further to his destination, the Ichiraku ramen shop, and caught up to him.
"Oh Naruto, hi…" the girl began.
"Hi Sakura," the blond started off. "Listen, you and I both know that all you're gonna do right now is cry and whine over Sasuke and I'm gonna have to sit here and listen. Then when you feel your pride and self esteem has been restored you're gonna leave me here wishing I could have just one date with you, and go Sasuke stalking again."
Sakura stood there with a mixture of disbelief, awe, and embarrassment on her tear stained face. But the tears that were falling at that moment weren't because of Sasuke, but Naruto.
"So let's just skip it ok? I'm…tired of having to be your little pick-me-up. And what's the point of going through all this trouble when you know you're just gonna do it again? And Sasuke's not even worth it. Look… if you're going to cry to some one, let the person be Ino, or some other girl, because I'm tired…" Naruto found himself pouring his heart out in front of this girl, the one he loved, or rather, thought he loved.
He turned and walked away, leaving the poor girl alone.
Sakura stood there, stunned. She couldn't believe what just happened. A few steps over, in the restaurant, a song came on. These are the words that struck her heart the most.
'You need him? I could be him. I could be an accident but im still tryin' and that's more than I could say for him. Where is your boy tonight? I hope he is a gentleman. But maybe he wont find out what I know, you were the last good thing about this part of town.'
Well, I know this was very short or whatever. I wrote this a long time ago and just found the file on my computer. I thought it would be a good idea to publish it, so here it is. Um... so yeah, let me know how it was, what I could have improved on, and things like that. But please, E V E R Y O N E MUST REVIEW! :O It's the only way I'll know whether or not to continue this! Ja ne!
