"You can't leave!" She pleaded.
"I can". He snapped back.
"You can't leave just because you object with Hammond's decision over the Aschen"
"I can, when I know that decision is wrong. I don't want to be responsible for the mess you are all creating."
"What about SG-1?" She lowered her voice. "What about us Jack?"
She lifted her eyes to his and tried to hold his gaze.
"There is no SG-1. Not since you all turned your back on me. There never could be an 'us' Sam."
He turned, picked up his bag and walked away from their love.
