Epilogue I would like to present The Last of My kind. This is my first fan fiction hope you like it.

Humans believe that being a dog is all cherries and gumdrops. Well it's not. Especially when you are dragged into a life of constant struggle. My story begins at Blue Berry ranch, my home. I was adopted as a puppy, my master hoped I would become a herding dog since, I'm a Australian shepherd. Most days begin with my masters mate (wife) cooking food for their pack, i'm fed kibble from a dish by the door. I ussauly follow my master when he leaves to go feed the farm animals, sheep, pigs, cow, you name it.

There is a building with "cages" full of cow, and another building set of to the side, I often see the family lead big animals they call horses into them. Right in front of the house is a pasture. Sheep, white and fluffy scampered around, panic shining in their eyes. My ranch dog partner, Socks circled around the rear of the flock. His black and white coat shone underneath the sun. I quietly went up to the fence. Socks snapped at the sheep, than he did a quick half circle to push them forward. I kept watching fascinated. He nipped at one of the sheep's ankles, he missed by a couple of inches on purpose, it was only to scare them. The sheep made a startled sound and pushed forward. My master shut the separating gate to enclose them into a smaller space. The were to be sheared for their coats and released back into the big pasture.

The wind blew strongly. A scent caught my nose. It was kind of like how I smell except Bitter and dark. That was a sign I should have listened to but as a puppy I was oblivious to the danger. That was before my first birthday, before every small choice, scent or action led to one choice that would choose my fate.

Sry it's so small, Please leave some reviews. I will be putting up chapter 1 very soon.
