Author's note: a 100 word drabble on why Tony finds it so hard to shut up.

What isn't said

Sometimes the most important conversations don't have words. They exist between them, in silence, in looks, actions, smiles, and in turning away. They're the conversations that hold the most meaning. They're the conversations that are the hardest to hear. They're often the ones that you try hardest to ignore-because they're the conversations that cannot lie.

Lies are easier. For all involved.

Lies protect the heart.

They all knew how to lie. But as their job showed them daily, truth shines through. It's heard between the lies. Lies are words. Truth is silence. Which is why Tony hated being silent.
