Summary: A short one-shot between Laki and Wiper.
Warning: Spoiler for Skypia arc!
Now onto the one-shot!
"Wiper."
"Hmm?"
"It's time to change your bandages," a young woman said, kneeling next to a man about the same age. The young man, Wiper, lifted his arms up from his side allowing the woman, Laki, to start to unravel the white medical tape from around his body.
"You need to be more careful Wiper. You could have died," Laki said in a worried tone.
Wiper stayed silent.
As Laki was finishing up changing the bandages, Wiper said, "I'll try to do better next time, staying alive I mean." His face was facing strait ahead, but his eyes looked deep into the black haired woman's. "I didn't know you were that worried about me."
"Of course I was worried about you."
Before Wiper could say anything, Laki wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him close. She gently rested her forehead against his, but did nothing else.
"I'm so happy you're alive."
Wiper was shocked. Slowly, he returned the hug. With a scowl on his face, Wiper gave her a peck on the cheek and hugged a bit tighter. Laki gave a slight smile before backing away.
"AHHH!"
Wiper and Laki head's whipped around simultaneously to the open flap of Wiper' tent, where Aisa stood with her mouth agape. "You and Laki and the hug and the k-kki-kissing thingy," Aisa stuttered out, her face bright red. Aisa backed away from the tent before running away in a panicked state.
Wiper laid down, seemingly too tired to stay upright. Laki gave another small smile before moving to leave.
"Laki."
"Yes?"
"I'm glad that you're not dead, that would have made me…sad." Wiper said in a tired voice.
Laki's smile grew a little bigger. "I'll be back later to change the bandages again Wiper." Laki said while exiting the tent.
The smile never left her face.
