Disclaimer: I don't own Frankenstein
AN: I co-wrote this dialogue with my two friends purpl3go0s3 and Silver Pencil on Black Paper for English class as a writing exercise.
A Frankenstein and Monster Therapy Session
Dr. Phil: Today, Victor Frankenstein and his Monster are here to talk about their problems and dilemmas…and feelings. Victor, how does it make you feel knowing you could've handled the situation differently?
Victor: Well, it's kind of depressing but I now that I look back I could've thought it through.
Dr. Phil: …Thought what through?
Victor: The creation of this depressing and hideous monster wouldn't have come to be if I hadn't jumped right in without thinking of the consequences.
Dr. Phil: How do you think things would've been different if you hadn't had created this Monster?
Victor: Well, my loved ones wouldn't have died in the most gruesome and depressing manner possible.
Dr Phil: Now, Monster…well, I think you should have a name to identify yourself with society. What's in a name? A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet…
Victor: …
Monster: …
Dr. Phil: …Well, anyway…let's give you a name. How about Little Bill…Little Bill…Little Billy!
Monster: Whatever.
Dr. Phil: Little Bill, do you see that Victor has never loved you? You are lonely and rejected. How does that make you feel?
Little Bill: Well…lonely and rejected.
Dr. Phil: Victor, do you see how not loving Little Bill has made him feel? Do you admit to being a cause of his crimes?
Victor: Yes, I can see that my actions have consequences. Maybe if I loved him, my friends and family would not be dead and maybe the Monster could've become an active part in society.
Dr. Phil: Little Bill, do you think that you can find it in that little heart, that I know you have because Victor probably went and dug up some poor dead person's heart, …to learn to forgive him? And Victor, you too, will have to own up to your actions and help Little Bill on this long and hard road that will lead you to the land of forgiveness and acceptance?
Little Bill: I can attempt to deal with myself if Victor can try to love me.
Victor: Yes, I will try my hardest to deal with your ugly and gruesome self.
Dr. Phil: Wow, this has been such a learning experience for the both of you, and I hope that you both can learn to accept each other for who you are and learn to forgive each other for the pain you've both caused.
So yeah, we handed this in and got a 10/10 on it. Which honestly I was surprised by because we were basically goofing off the entire time during it. :D
