Authors Note: So I know I write a lot of Rose and Damon stories, but they are just so awesome. I'm going to try and write about other characters from TVD. But I was listening to this one song, and thought it would be perfect for Rose and Damon.
The song is called Tears of an Angel: By RyanDan. (I think it's by someone else as well, but I found this version and loved it.

She lays in his arms sleep, and to weak to do anything. Damon knows that her time is soon up, but he doesn't want it to be. Over the past few days he has grown closer to Rose, and to see her like this pains him. He really doesn't want to lose her, she seems to be the only one who actually understands him.
Stop every clock
Stars are in shock
The river would run to the sea

I won't let you slip away from me.
All he want's to do now is stop the time from ticking on and on. Damon just want's it all to stop, he want's to spend more time with her. He doesn't want to say goodbye, at least not now. Sometime soon he will have to say goodbye, but he won't let her slip away from him now.

I'm here, don't you fear
He hopes that she can hold on a little longer, he knows that she is strong enough to. Damon wanted to live his life with her, and know that she would be their everyday. But now he's not sure that can happen. "I'm here, don't you fear." He whispers this in Roses' ear, as she lays sleeping.

Damon goes into her mind and they share a dream that is created by him. In the dream they are in her birth town, Damon puts himself in the dream as well. Later on in the dream they are sitting on a hill together talking. He hopes that she doesn't let go soon, she can't let go.
Rose gets up from the hill they were sitting on, and want's to race Damon. She counts down from three, so that on three they race.

On three Damon plunged the stake into her heart, that he was holding beside him. Damon let a few tears escape from his eyes, as Rose just lay there dead.

Damon wanted the words to be a lie, he wanted them to be untrue. But the words she's dead weren't a lie. Rose was laying in front of him dead, she would never wake up now. He would never be able to see her smiling face or green eyes again.
Authors Note: So here it is, I have never written a song fiction before. So I hope it was good and no complete crap. Sorry for any mistakes I may have made, I'm not that good a writer yet. Please review and tell me what you think.
