Disclaimer - I don't own Danny Phantom

"He gave me a C!" Tucker exclaimed discerningly into my ear, while gesturing dramatically with his hands, as we walked through the hall.

I cringed and rubbed my ear, baffled at his loud outburst.

Yeah, he was pretty upset.

"It was only a test, okay?" I clarified. "Not the end of the world."

Tucker shook his head quickly. "You don't understand," he disputed. "I never got a C in my whole School career!"

I half-smirked smugly to myself, knowing that I wouldn't be able to bite back the comment that came instantly to my mind.

"What, so you wanted the D?" I asked, holding back chuckles.

"Bite me." Tucker mumbled in annoyance.

I glanced at him, nudging him in the shoulder with my own. "C'mon, Tuck. Lighten up!"

He responsed with a sigh.

"I would but you're so lame, Sam." Tucker shrugged.

I gave him a funny glare. "Now there's the annoying but lovely Tucker I know!"

We reached the entrance door and he pushed it open. "I have an appointment, so I'm excused for today!" He smiled, cheerfully. "Off you go, or you'll be late to your next class, Manson." He waved me away.

I fakingly frowned at him, crossing my arms.

"You can't wait to get rid of me, am I right?"

With that I stalked off, not really watching where I was going.

"Well, if I'd be your best friend, you would have bribed the teacher for me!" I heard him call after me.

I turned around, walking backwards "You are my best friend, Tuck-"

THUD!

My back hit against something hard, my eyes widened. I stumbled and fell bolt upright on my butt.

"Fuck!"

I won't be able to sit for a week, I thought to myself the moment my behind collided with the floor.

Someone hurried to my side. "I'm sorry, are you alright?" I heard a concerned voice say.

I looked up and saw a boy with black hair and dark blue eyes, which were filled with regret and asked for mercy. He was staring down at me.

He offered me his hand, I took it and he helped me up, searching for any damage he may caused, the second I was standing on my feet.

"No, actually I'm Sam." I told him, meeting his gaze. "Nice to meet you, Sorry."

He smiled at me the most heart warming smile.

"So, you're best friend's name is Tuck Fuck? Never heard of him." He caught on.

I silently smiled back.

We locked eyes with each other, which felt like an eternity, before he snapped out and revealed his real name to me.

"I'm Daniel Fenton," He said. "But call me Danny."

"Sam." I simply stated, still smiling coyly.

Suddenly, this girl with dark long hair and a petite figure walked up to him from behind and wrapped both her arms around him. "Baby." She sang, stepping forward, so Danny could see her.

I dropped my smile carefully and took on a neutral face expression.

I glances shifted back at him and he leaned down to give her a quick peck on the lips.

"Who's this?" She then asked, looking not so nicely at me.

Who's this? Really? I'm standing right in front of you - Why not ask me instead of making this even more awkward for me?

"I'm Sam." I politely repeated, offering her a quick half-smile.

She glances ran up and down at me. "And how do you know him?"

"We um, bumped into each other just now." Danny explained to her.

I nodded assuringly, glad that I didn't need to explain myself to her, since Danny grasped the mantle.

She didn't seem to like me and I felt uncomfortable.

She nodded slowly.

"Well, let's go." She looked up at Danny, smiling.

"Yeah," He answered, softly. "Bye Sam - it was nice meeting you." He waved and I waved back, before the walked off arm in arm.

However Paulina turned around without Danny noticing, glaring back at me.
